And that is where the training of the mind becomes very important……and the training has to be purely self training……..
It is not difficult, but not easy either. To focus your mind on the single goal of creating happiness, compassion, gratefulness and kindness is the ultimate challenge, and requires regular practice. And if practised regularly, one’s mind can be mastered to focus on the good only, and turn the negatives into positives.
As the Holy Dalai Lama said, ” Tolerance is very important. If you have tolerance you can easily overcome difficulties.”
A determined effort with a very positive and optimistic attitude can easily help one to control the mind. And a controlled mind is the strongest of all. It stands when everything else around falls……….:)
